I will point out that this was only the 3 sets of 108 a day and not the 1000 a day. I remember standing in front of the pilgrimage scroll of Kannon Bosatsu (The one that Monshin gave to you at the end of that gyo) and asking Kannon Bosatsu for protection and the strength to keep going. What happened reminds me of what you are describing here. I felt like I had somehow become one with the process itself, like there was some hesitation or preconceived notion about how to complete the task that I let go of. Nothing new happened; I simply quit resisting and thinking. It was very peaceful, actually. This year I came in the door with that mindset and it was a much more enriching experience this year during the prostrations. I look forward to the 1000 prostrations. I respect the effort it will take; it's no easy task as I have seen. One step at a time, it will be completed . . . .again and again.

Gassho . . .
Doko
Blue Mountain Sage SanghaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3061348671908870940.post-14862162989369988512011-08-20T09:54:30.457+02:002011-08-20T09:54:30.457+02:00Jeg elsker at du er gavmild med at dele dine egne ...Jeg elsker at du er gavmild med at dele dine egne "inperfektioner" og hvad du lærer af dem.
Tak for et skønt indlæg!Senshin_dkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01447853211190227295noreply@blogger.com
